Goan curry tastes best with Prawns as well as Pomfret. Keeping the ingredients simple, let us begin with this humble yet appetising dish, without which seafood is incomplete. 8 king size Prawns
15 g Red chillies
25 g Garlic
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Coriander seeds
1 ½ cup Grated coconut
15 g Tamarind
½ medium size Onion

Tawa Fried Prawns

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

coriander leaves Method Marinate the prawns with all the listed ingredients (except for oil and coriander leaves). Keep it for 20 minutes. Heat the oil in the pan and shallow fry the prawns. The prawns curl up while cooking, make sure you flip each prawn to fry it from both the sides. Tip: Maximum frying time is 5-7 minutes (depending on the size of the prawns).
